Community Infrastructure Levy Draft Charging Schedule - Regulation 16 Publication
CIL is a '£ per sqm' charge on new development to fund infrastructure needed to support growth of housing, employment, leisure and transport identified in the local plan. The draft charging schedule is supported by evidence including a viability report and infrastructure delivery plan. We previously consulted on the potential Community Infrastructure Levy rates on 13 March to 08 May 2024.
We are now consulting on the CIL draft charging schedule from 6 December 2024 to 31 January 2025.
The consultation is at the Regulation 16 stage and is a formal consultation under the Community infrastructure Levy Regulation 2010 (as amended).
The council are also consulting on the Pre-Submission Local Plan alongside the Community Infrastructure Levy Draft Charging Schedule. Details can be viewed on the Emerging Local Plan webpage.
